Hawaii’s unemployment rate inches higher to 3.5 percent. More jobs were found in the education, health, and services sector, while construction employment continued to decline.
Honolulu Rail Transit Authority will see another member leave. Chairwoman Colleen Hanabusa says she “will likely leave before the November general election.” She will run for her former Hawaii First Congressional District seat in the general election.
