Boaters rescued while helping search for missing fisherman. The would-be-rescue craft lost power while it was towing the capsized vessel of the missing fishermen.
Military forces from 26 nations prepare for the 2016 Rim of the Pacific (RIMPAC) exercises being held in Hawaiian and Southern California waters this month.
The Independence day Waikiki “Flotopia” kept Honolulu police busy. Officers rescued 300 people who couldn’t make it to shore during the festivities. Officers also arrested several persons for underage drinking and rendered aid to those suffering “alcohol illness.”
